A modern dual townhouse development beautifully finished, to maximise natural light and reduce onsite build time, using Covet's Ever Art Wood® prefabricated Doubuchi screening & Kabebari batten two part profiles.

Covet recently worked with both builder and architect to create a suspended ceiling using the 30x85 two piece Kabebari profile. We supplied a custom black T section that was affixed to ceiling rods. From there the battens were fastened to the T sections with an acoustic matt infill. The end result delivered by the builder was testament to their tradesmens' skills.

Covet Artwood from Japan was recently installed in a new apartment development in Melbourne called Spectrum Apartments - Box Hill. Designed by KUD and developed by Shangyi Property, this building makes a bold, contemporary statement. The designer selected the Covet aluminium cladding system called Ever Artwood from Takasho Japan for the entry lobby. The battens employed were the 2-section ‘Kabebari’ system designed for ease of installation and concealed fixings. The project was pre-cut from shop drawings in Japan and involved over 600 battens. The designers and client were drawn to the fire rating (AS/NZ 3837 - group 1), realistic timber aesthetic, precision and low maintenance aspect of the material.
